WE  BUILD WORLDS

In the hand of Daikokuten, one of the seven Japanese Gods of luck, the hammer grants its owner the power to make wishes come true...

Once a year, right before Mousson, Daikokuten would magically appear to review the hard work of his people. If he saw mice running by the grain cellars it meant that there was plenty to sustain everyone and everything. As the balance of life was secured, Daikokuten would swing his hammer unleashing its magic and providing wealth, health and a decent future to all living beings.

With its DNA firmly rooted in the early age of video gaming, LUCKYHAMMERS Entertainment embraces the ethos of Japanese philosophy within the video game culture, embodying one of Japan’s greatest legends where hard work makes the wildest dreams possible.

UCHIDE NO KOZUCHI

LUCKYHAMMERS began life as Fidel, a R&D firm specializing in immersive technologies, merged hardware, holographics, animation, live action and online technologies. Since 2007, we have delivered hundreds of projects for ambitious brands with high standards in terms of quality. During this early period we developed a strong expertise in interactive content.

While rebranding the studio from Fidel to LUCKYHAMMERS in 2016, we shifted our focus from servicing the entertainment industry to creating new IPs, powered by inclusive business models that fully leverage new and existing technologies to set new benchmarks for performance and creativity. After an extensive study of both VR & AR, we made a leap of faith toward VR  believing it will help usher in a new breed of content that will enable full adoption of AR in life, art and business.

Led by veterans from multiple industries, LUCKYHAMMERS continues to add to its team of professionals who strive to craft products and experiences that push the boundaries of technology and imagination. Our entrepreneurial attitude and attention to detail is driven by our passion to actually help mankind. That is the result that we are after.

BRINGING IMAGINATIONS TO LIFE

#IWANTTOWORK @LUCKYHAMMERS

We believe in cross-platform strategy, exploring narratives to discover the depths and angles when experienced on different media. It’s just a question of taking storytelling to a whole new level.

We believe that simple ideas beautifully executed are more important than trying to be clever or reinvent the wheel. When an experience is elegantly intuitive users do not need to be “taught” how to behave or exist within that world. They are free to play and experiment and discover for themselves where they can go. We feel this is a very compelling advantage that VR has over other mediums and is what has captured so much early attention for us.

We aspire to create moments that are larger than life, something that people cannot find at home but that has a direct and profound lineage to home-based products. Our content is crafted to bridge the gap between location-based entertainment and home applications, where users can do something at home that will enhance what they are able to live in the location-based and vice versa.

For that, we need to keep people engaged with quality content. That is the most important part, because the quality level is going higher and higher. We need to propel that. There can be a way to make cheap stuff look good. There are ways of doing that. But the meaningfulness of a piece of content that is critical — we need to be able to get school buses of people driving up to the location. That’s how museums do it.

The fact is we need to have edutainment attached somewhere to whatever we are going to be offering in the next six to twelve months. Content that isn’t a gun, that’s offering a perspective on something more than just entertainment. That way, we can get groups; we can get schools; we can get mothers of three. We need that type of content that’s historical, that’s rich, that’s cinematic to a certain extent.

It’s not necessarily about teaching either.

It’s about helping people, especially a new generation, figure out how to understand what’s going on. The way that kids currently look at the world is completely different than just five or 10 years ago. It needs to be quick.

But it can also be something that can stand the rest of the time.
